Here's everything you need to know about what to build in your cities, when to build them, and what to prioritize. it does have some off the highest victory demands off any factions though, so it's a bit off a commitement.Whether you're playing as a Roman faction, storming Europe as a Barbarian faction, or conquering the Oases of the Middle East as the Seleucids, there are certain patterns to successful build orders. pontius is my personall favourite, because you get going you are REALLY going. but it does have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ starting locations, with galatia and capadocia attacking early. Pontius has got really good units and easy acces to wonders (especially if you manage to peacefully annax some neighbours). cons would be the weak infantry, which is onlu good with a bunch off experience and upgraded armour/weapons. another benefit is proximity to wonders that boast cultural influence and armies. and you can easily take 2 of 3 approaches (over the lakes, north iran westwards and south iran westwards). The adtvantage off the parthians is that they are amongst weak but somewhat big factions, meaning they can grab alot off territory before meeting any big threats. do keep in mind that they come at you at once. they will waltz over nearly anything, so long as you make you sure you keep your borders small, you should be ableto take the greeks with only a little trouble. Also, are the Indian elephats the armored ones? Also, I don't think that the Indian Elephants have archers on their backs, do they?Īs has been said the armenians have really good infantry. How do you get the Indian elephants? I'd guess you need to play as an eastern faction, but I don't remember the building that would give you elephants (Would it be exotic animal studs that you research to get the building?). I should try this again to see if it was just a bug at the time. My cash flow problems were officialy over in that turn. It may have been a bug but the last time i did that the turn that i took the port I had contact with everyone in the med, atlantic and even as far as the baltic ports all at once. Also, are the Indian elephats the armored ones? If you play parthia try holding the line in the south and stay peaceful ( you will need Baktria's lands though and if you go through diplomacy and find anyone that is at war with seleucids satrapies you can join the war against them by talking to their enemies and not have the seleucids and allies join in ) then advance north through the nomad tribes, once you force your way to a black sea port your away laughing.
